Taiwan tech giant Foxconn that produces Apple iPhone is looking at manufacturing electric vehicles (EVs) in India, Europe and Latin America, including collaborating with German automakers, chairman Liu Young-way said on 20 October, 2021.
Foxconn, formally called Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd, aims to become an influential player in the global EV market and has secured deals with U.S. startup Fisker Inc and Thailand's energy group PTT PCL.
