MG Motors has revealed that its new electric car could be launched in India sometime in the first half of 2023. The new EV of MG Motor will come priced between ₹ 10-15 lakh (ex-showroom). The car will be based on an already established international platform.
The company aspires to grow the company’s electric portfolio and draw a larger customer base by presenting a city-friendly crossover. Their new electric car is expected to offer a range of approximately 300km on a single charge. The model could be a future rival to the likes of the Tata Nexon EV.
MG Motor India recently launched the revamped ZS EV in India. The 2022 MG ZS EV doesn’t reach the level-2 ADAS like the Astor SUV. However, it does feature some advanced driver assistance features like a blind-spot detection system, lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert, etcetera. The new ZS EV is claimed to offer a range of 461 km per charge and is priced from ₹ 21.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
